numbers. By the end of the week we should be reviewing for a unit test over all the division in
chapters 3 and 4! Fractions are coming next!!!

Reminder: Your child's spring pictures will be coming home with them this evening. Please look them over and decide if you would like to keep all, some, or none of the photos. Return any pictures you don't want with your child as soon as possible and/or send a check for the ones you would like to keep! Thank you!

Math: Dividing multiple divisor numbers and large numbers has proven challenging for some. We will work a bit more on that and continue into dividing with zeros in the quotient and dividing
decimals by 10, 100, and 1,000!

Reminder: We hope to see you and your child tomorrow evening at the high school auditorium for the winter concert!! The concert starts at 7:00.
Reminder: The students will be getting their spring pictures taken tomorrow. No money needs to be sent at this time. The pictures will be sent home in a few weeks, and you can decide then if you want to buy them!
Reminder: We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday. Your child can bring a snack, a drink, and a pillow.
Reminder: We are collecting items for the food pantry through the next two and a half weeks. Please send anything that you can to help our efforts to feed local families.
Reminder: MAP testing is over for the 5th graders unless your child needs to make up a day!

Reminder...The Valentine's Day party is scheduled for Friday this week. Your student is allowed to bring a treat, drink, and pillow for the party!

Reminder: Your child's music concert is February 13th in the evening. Please make arrangements to get them back to the school for the program. We would also love to see you here to watch it!

Reminder: We just kicked off our "Read a Million Minutes" program today. It will coordinate with the winter Olympics. Please encourage your child to read as much as possible over the next 3 weeks! Also, please make any contributions that you can to our food drive! Thank you in advance for your donations!

Reminders: MAP testing will be coming up on February 10th through February 12th. Please make sure your children get to bed at a good time the nights before the tests and eat good breakfasts those mornings as well! We will celebrate Valentine's Day with an afternoon movie. Your child will be allowed to bring a snack and drink for the celebration!

Science: None...Corrections are encouraged on the papers returned to the students today, however.
