Reminder...Tomorrow all 5th graders will be going on a field trip to Des Moines. It is called Exercising Your Character and has been set up through Mrs. Kern in the PE department. We will leave shortly after 8 am and will be back around 2:30. You do not need to send lunch, as one will be provided from HyVee!

Your child is allowed to bring an electronic device on the bus, but it will need to be left on the bus when we go into the event. Please send electronics at your/your child's own risk. A sack lunch will be provided by HyVee, the sponsor of the event. No food or drink need be sent from home! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Kern or myself.

The students will be going to the high school to meet people who currently work in the fields of video game design, agronomy, NASA's space program, fashion design, and many more! It should be an exciting event that gets your children thinking about their futures! Please know that the driving force in determining future career choices of a child comes from a parent! Start talking now about what your child may want to be someday!

Reminder...We will be MAP testing for the next three afternoons. Please encourage your child to do their best. It would be super helpful if they got a good night's sleep and healthy breakfast prior to each day of testing! Thank you in advance for your help in preparing your child for their tests!
