Homework:

     Math:  Begin studying for the Chapter 1 cumulative math test on Tuesday October 22nd!  This will be
                over all 15 lessons!

     Science:  Begin studying for the Chapter 1 cumulative science test on Wednesday, October 23rd!  This
                   will be over all three lessons!

Our field trip to the science center was a huge success.  We learned a lot and had a lot of fun.  Please enjoy just a few of the many pictures we took throughout the day!

Next week:

     Math:  We will be reviewing for and taking the chapter 1 cumulative test.  Our focus then shifts into
                multiplication.  Specifically, we will do work with multiplication patterns and estimating products!
                Please work with your child at home on basic multiplication facts if he/she does not know them
                automatically.

     Science:  We will be reviewing for and taking the chapter 1 cumulative test.  We are then moving into
                    weather!  Weather systems will be the first lesson!
