Reminder...Picture retakes are next Tuesday.  If you want your child's pictures retaken, send the packet of pictures with them to school to hand to the photographer at the time of the retake.

Homework:

     Math: P2-3  **Please work with your student at home on multiplication facts!  They should know them 
                            automatically through the 10s.

     Science:  None

Next Week:

     Math:  We will be working on multiplication of single digit numbers x double/triple digit numbers,           
                multiplication of double digit numbers x double/triple digit numbers, and making organized lists
                as a problem solving skill.  We should be ready to review and quiz early in the following week 
                over the first 6 lessons!

     Science:  We will be finishing lesson 1 by discussing water in the air, reviewing for a quiz, and quizzing by 
                    mid-week.  We will be conducting an experiment to discover that different materials absorb 
                    heat at different rates.  We will learn how this affects the creation of wind.
