Attention:  The Fine Arts Nights has been moved to Monday night.  The doors will open at 6:30 for viewing art work in the gym and the concert will start at 7:00!  We look forward to seeing you there!

Reminder...If your child increased his or her MAP scores or scored in the proficient range, he/she has earned a movie/snack day.  Please allow your child to bring a snack, drink, and pillow on Monday if they earned it.  Anyone earning this reward will be bringing home a note telling you so!

Next Week:

     Math:  We will start our week out with a quiz over adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike 
                denominators.  We will then continue with adding and subtracting mixed numbers, and by the end 
                of the week introduce multiplication of fractions.

     Science:  We will jump into the last lesson on forces.  We will be learning about the scientific definitions
                    of work, power, and machines.  The students will also be working on another Scholastic News
                    magazine.
