Reminder:  Iowa Assessments begin on Monday.  Please look for a pink note that was sent home with your child today which gives you information about the tests.  In order to best prep your child to do his/her best please 1) encourage them to do their best and discuss the importance of the tests, 2) get them a good night's sleep the night before each test, and 3) get them a good, healthy breakfast the morning of each test.  We appreciate your help!

Next Week:

     Math:  We will continue our work with fractions focusing on turning fractions into decimals and adding 
                fractions with like denominators.  We will also be taking two days to prep our children for our 
                upcoming field trip to NIACC called Entrepreneur For A Day.  The activity/concept we will be 
                learning about is a cash flow statement for a business.

     Science:  We will finish our magnetism experiment and delve into lesson one about forces we encounter
                    on earth, such as gravity, magnetism, and friction.
